NEVER! have I met someone so Beautifully caring and giving....
From the moment with crossed paths I felt an instant connection.
He is a muse, a god, inspiration and free spirit, lots of every single one of those things all mixed together with a giant spoon of honey for extra sweetness.
He has opened his arms to me from the begining and has show me his magic, his light, his generosity and his love!
I will always LOVE this amazing man. He has a very special place in my heart.

If she doesn't bring a smile to your face then you got a tough road ahead of you. Damn, I got a smile just writing this. Whipped Cream anyone ? Big heart, big smile........ gotta love it.

===============================================

I just sold David T. Alexander over a grand's worth of romance comics 'n' stuff.
That's Mr DTA COLLECTIBLES, of Tampa/LA. They were mostly my second and third string duplicates only. I had skimmed the cream.
He did come away with some striking originals that were hard to cede.
He gave me a beating, anyway, of course. But…I'm still ahead.
I had to, also, give up a buncha GA GGA. He gave me less for the PGX slabs than the CGC because they were PGX and no one ever heard of them, seemingly, at least, maybe, his clients, perhaps, I don't know.

He, also, of course, went straight for the stuff he'd never seen before. And in his 25 years in the pro comic dealer business, saying he's never seen it, before now, ever, means it is rare. Not scarce. We're talking only, maybe 25 – 50 copies in the world in any kind of decent condition. The only problem would be more warehouse finds, which,
I'll guarantee. So what? Bumps it up another 25 copies or so. Big deal for somebody, I'm sure, though.
Most of this stuff is scarce to begin with. (Native foreign stuff, too.
You have no idea…the stuff I own.
Mostly Brit and Aussie art.)

He and I think exactly alike, though,
regarding vintage magazine illustrations being the future.
We are after truly rare stuff. !!!4 !!! U!!!

This stuff was as disposable as last weeks TV shows.
The collecting mania was never widespread enough
in the weekly & monthly mag trade of 1930-1962,
as it was in the comic book arena.
Kids hoarded their treasured comics. And as men, we have learned.
Mags got disposed of like newspapers. So, they're really rare.
When they appear or pop-up unto the screen, such as on ebay, they,
almost always, are in ratty condition.
You wouldn't want to touch them,
much less hold them for periods of time…reading.
It's the illustrations, that slay me.
And the printing processes used and the aged paper…
it's a very tactillically,
Or, at least, that's where I'm putting my money.
Go check out the mag back issue inventory of As Time Goes By,
a used book store in VA, @Bakertowne collectables in upstate NY.
I think I got in early enough to cop a feel of their inventory. No matter.
It's coming out their wazoo – they have so much of it.
Auctions of bulk mags going as far back as 1868 all focusing on 1920 – 1979 mags
– it's fundamentally, a warehouse find of library editions
– read for a week and stored in a library.
– From, libraries all over the country.
– And little old ladies that stored their subscriptions to Colliers and their dead hubby's Popular Mechanics.
– And postmen committing mail fraud: getting subscriptions to magazines they would never open. Obsessive hoarders…these are the ones that come up with the minty fresh condition of a close proximity to
– "Newsstand Fresh" copyright luxxxuriousnessessensationalsensuouness…
– That's a new in-betweener grade I just made up. Use it, next time you need a Very Fine grading equivalent.

And I don't …
I don't give a hoot 'n' holler in hell
